Purpose
The purpose of the symposium is to provide a forum for in-depth interaction among the world’s preeminent scholars (from various scientific disciplines) in the domains of human choice behavior and decision making. These domains are defined broadly.
Structure
The Symposium entails limited number of parallel workshops on specific, well-defined themes. Each of these workshops is (a)Â organized by two or three thought leaders on a theme that they propose and (b) attended by a total of 12-15 participants who are invited by the workshop organizers.The conference begins on May 29th 2019, and ends to June 1st 2019 in the evening).
Prior Symposiums
The inaugural Choice Symposium was held in Banff in 1990. Since then, the conference has been hosted by Duke University, NYU/Columbia, HEC Paris, UC Berkeley, the University of Colorado, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Miami/University of Technology Sydney, Erasmus University, and the University of Alberta.
